V1VPN Privacy Policy

AKS SOFTWARE LLC operates V1VPN, a VPN application distributed through the Apple App Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the V1VPN app, create an account, manage a subscription, or contact V1VPN support.

This policy applies only to V1VPN. For information about how AKS SOFTWARE LLC handles website information, see the AKS Software Privacy Policy.

V1VPN does not sell, use, or disclose VPN user data to third parties for any purpose.

When you use V1VPN, we do not collect or retain:

• Browsing history or the contents of your traffic
• DNS requests or destination domains you visit
• Destination IP addresses
• Your source IP address beyond what is required for connection establishment
• Connection timestamps linked to your account
• Session duration
• Bandwidth usage totals linked to your account
• The specific VPN server locations you select

We operate V1VPN to provide VPN functionality without building a profile of your online activity.

The table below describes the categories of information V1VPN collects, why each category is collected, and how long it is retained.

Apple processes App Store payment details. AKS SOFTWARE LLC does not receive your complete payment-card number, CVV, or other full payment credentials from Apple.

We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

• Creating and maintaining your V1VPN account
• Providing VPN functionality and managing connections
• Confirming your subscription entitlement through the App Store
• Providing customer support and responding to your inquiries
• Maintaining the security of the service and preventing abuse
• Diagnosing technical problems and improving the app
• Complying with valid legal obligations and protecting our rights

V1VPN does not contain advertising, tracking SDKs, or analytics services that profile users for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or third-party advertisers.

We rely on third-party service providers to operate V1VPN. These providers process limited information on our behalf and only as needed to deliver their service. Categories include:

• Cloud hosting and server infrastructure for VPN connections
• Authentication services to verify account credentials
• App Store transaction verification to confirm subscription status
• Email delivery for support communications
• Error monitoring and crash reporting to identify bugs

Service providers do not receive your browsing history, DNS requests, traffic contents, or other VPN user data.

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Specific retention periods are listed in the information-collected table above. General guidelines:

• Account information: until you delete your account or 90 days after your subscription expires without renewal.
• Subscription records: until the subscription expires or the account is deleted.
• Support messages: while the inquiry is open and for 1 year afterwards for reference.
• Crash and diagnostic data: 30 days, then anonymized or deleted.
• Abuse-prevention logs: 7 days for routine logs, longer when required by active security incidents or legal obligations.

Where we are required to retain records for tax, accounting, or legal compliance, those records are kept only as long as required by applicable law.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of VPN connections and data in transit
• Secure storage of account credentials using industry-standard hashing
• Access controls limiting who can view account and support information
• Regular security reviews of infrastructure and code

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, breaches, or data loss will never occur. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including:

• Requesting access to the personal information we hold about you
• Requesting correction of inaccurate information
• Requesting deletion of your account and associated information
• Objecting to or restricting certain processing activities
• Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent
• Requesting a copy of your information in a portable format

Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.

You can request deletion of your V1VPN account through the account-deletion control inside the app, or by contacting amir@aks.software.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your account information, authentication data, and associated records within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or security purposes.

Deleting your V1VPN account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately through your Apple Account settings.

AKS SOFTWARE LLC is located in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States. Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or in other countries where we or our service providers operate.

If you use V1VPN from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your home country. We take steps to ensure that your information is handled in accordance with this policy and applicable law, including using contractual safeguards where required.

V1VPN is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact amir@aks.software and we will delete it.

We may preserve or disclose information when legally required to do so, including in response to:

• Valid legal process such as a court order or subpoena
• Legal obligations under applicable law
• Requests from law enforcement or government authorities where required by law

We will assess the validity and scope of any legal request and will only disclose information to the extent required by law. Where permitted, we will notify you of such requests unless prohibited from doing so.

Because V1VPN does not log browsing history, DNS requests, destination IP addresses, or connection timestamps, we cannot provide information we do not collect or retain.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the service, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you by:

• Updating the effective date at the top of this policy
• Displaying a notice in the V1VPN app or by email where appropriate
• Describing the nature of the change rather than silently replacing the text

Your continued use of V1VPN after the effective date of the updated policy means you accept the changes. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you should stop using V1VPN and may delete your account.
